Steve Hunt founded S & S Jewelry Repair Service on September 8, 1981.  

    Prior to opening S & S Jewelry, Steve worked in the jewelry industry first as an apprentice in jewelry repair.  He later became the bench jeweler at a jewelry store doing all of the jewelry repairs such as sizings, setting diamonds and gemstones and watch repairs.  

    After working for 12 years for another jewelry store he then decided to open S & S Jewelry.  He has been servicing the Ohio Valley for 39 years in all of their jewelry needs.  

    Steve started out at the repair bench using a torch and solder and now for the last few years he has upgraded to a laser welder for the jewelry repair.   A laser welder uses the same gold to size a ring, not solder; the ring will not show a seam; and the sized area is stronger using a laser welder.   The best in the profession from a true professional!

                                                                                                          

    Bonnie Bucher has been employed with S & S Jewelry since September 2003. 

    Prior to working at S & S Jewelry, Bonnie had worked in the jewelry industry in California for 15 years.  

    Bonnie is very knowledgeable about diamonds and gemstones.  She is always ready to help with all of your jewelry buying needs.   Our customers love Bonnie because she is truly interested in them and has as much fun as they do while shopping.   

     
    

    Jae C. Lehew has been employed with S & S Jewelry since October 1996.  

   She has attended Diamond Grading Seminars and has completed the Diamond Graduate course through Gemological Institute of America.  She is currently studying to complete her Graduate Gemologist Degree.

    Jae C is a Certified Senior Management Professional through Jewelers of America and has received  a Declaration of Completion through Jewelers Board of Appraisal Review for Basic Skills Assessment Examination on Appraisals.
